Belsoc, represented by committee member David Thomas, took part in this interesting day on 26th April 2025 to discuss the draft Climate Action Plan 2026-2030 outlining actions needed to make Camden more resilient in the face of the climate emergency.

You were one of 55 residents who came together for the day which showcased the commitment of Camden’s residents to tackle the climate crisis. The day’s activities included expert presentations on climate science, marketplace conversations with community partners to hear about how they are leading action and revisiting the original Citizens’ Assembly recommendations to help us generate new themes and ideas for the next Plan.

The new Climate Action Plan (2026–2030) is now being finalised and will be open for public consultation later this summer. This will provide another opportunity to share your views and continue to help us shape the plan. Please do sign up to our commonplace site to be notified when it goes live.
