You can visit the library to browse and borrow books, DVDs, CDs, use our public computers, or find a quiet place to study. Library of Things also (rent useful household, DIY and gardening items).

St StephenWAC Arts 

This prominent old ‘vestry hall’ with a rich history hosts the WAC Arts Trust, the University of the Third Age,  Akademi South Asian Dance and occasional concerts, weddings and other events. WAC provides many courses for young people 

Camden Arts Centre,

The centre was established in 1965 as a place for art and artists, making, viewing and discussing contemporary art through a programme of exhibitions, learning, courses, events and residencies.

Burgh House & Hampstead Museum,

A grade 1 listed Queen Anne house which is an accredited museum and space for cultural events including exhibitions, talks, concerts and workshops.
Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday, 10.00-16.00.
Cafe open Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 10.00-17.00 and Saturday & Sunday, 9:30-17:30.

Isokon Gallery,
Lawn Road, NW3 2XD

The gallery tells the story of the Isokon building, the pioneering modern apartment block opened in 1934 including the architecture, furniture and artists, architects, authors and spies who have lived there.
Open Saturdays and Sundays, 11.00 -16.00.
Reopens in Spring with new annual exhibition.

Keats House,

Keats House is a museum in a Regency villa where Romantic poet John Keats lived from 1818 until 1820.
Open for visits Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11.00, 12.15, 14.15, 15.30.

Hampstead Community Centre 

The Hampstead Community Centre and its vibrant outdoor Community Market lie at the heart of Hampstead Village life. The centre hosts an eclectic mix of activities, talks and indoor weekend markets and its doors are open seven days a week to the local community and visitors to Hampstead. 

St Peter’s Church,
Belsize Square, NW3 4HJ

St Peters, Belsize Park

St Peter’s is a Victorian church built in the Gothic style and stands in its own garden. It has a clock tower whose clock was renovated in 2019 to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the church’s consecration in 1859.
There are regular church services and occasional concerts and recitals.

St Stephens,
Rosslyn Hill, NW3 2PP

St Stephens Trust

St Stephen’s is a fine Grade 1 listed church, by S.S. Teulon with a wonderful interior. It is now de-consecreated and used by Hampstead Hill School and rented out for weddings and concerts. 

Goldfinger House (National Trust), 2 Willow Rd, NW3 1TH

Goldfinger House 

The 1939 modernist home of architect Ernő Goldfinger and family. Original interiors, innovative designs, intriguing personal possessions and impressive 20th-century art.

Fenton House (National Trust), Hampstead Grove, NW3 6SP

Fenton House 

A 17th-century house with views across London from Hampstead. Collections of ceramics, needlework, paintings and early keyboard instruments. A charming, ever-changing garden, including an orchard, kitchen garden, rose garden, terraces and lawns. TICKETS NEEDED IN ADVANCE (released 2 weeks ahead)

Kenwood House (English Heritage), Hampstead Lane, NW3 7JR

Kenwood House 

On the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens, Kenwood is one of London’s hidden gems. The breathtaking interiors and stunning world-class art collection, which includes Rembrandt’s ‘Self-Portrait with Two Circles’, are free for everyone to enjoy. With children’s activities, a café to relax in and acres of grounds to stretch your legs, there are treats in store for every visitor.
