John Walde has published an indispensable reference book covering thousands of artists, who lived or worked in Hampstead over the centuries. The book contains thousands of potted biographies and the addresses where the artists lived (when known). Many of these artists had been forgotten until John’s nearly 20 years of research “re-discovered” them. Many local artists have been added to the website with John’s permission.
