‘Pocket park’ for Belsize Grove / Haverstock Hill?

Camden is consulting (until March 13th) on creating a ‘pocket park’ on the bland and tatty piece of empty paving at the junction of Haverstock Hill and Belsize Grove. They seem to have found some specific funds for this in their saferstreets programme (presuming it can’t be used for more urgent or critical works).

They have suggested four planters but we think there are better, more imaginative ideas out there. Two examples shown here.

The northbound ‘entrance’ to the Belsize Park precinct  deserves better.

Already there are some good ideas submitted such as a vegetable garden, a gazebo, some benches …..but we need your thoughts, too!

What can we put there to beautify this forlorn patch?
